Paging Doctor Fussy Fangs~

Who: Pink!Joshua and Aranea Serket
Where: A therapist's office
Summary: Pink had a very, very strange dream so he's consulting Aranea to figure out what it's all about.
Warnings: None

When Pink walks into the room, he closes the door to the office behind him and heads straight for the comfortable looking chaise lounge in the room, taking a seat and greeting Aranea with his trademark smile. He'll make himself more relaxed and reclined on the chaise lounge when he gets into the throes of things, but first he's going to be polite to the lovely lady serving as his therapist. He twirls some hair around his finger idly while she gets settled, pretty blue hairclips pulling some of his hair back out of his face, before he speaks up.

"I apologize for coming on such short notice, Miss Serket, and I'm very grateful that you could fit me into your undoubtedly tight schedule~" Pink gives her a flirty wink, leaning back on his hands a little. "I'm having some problems, though... a bit of confusion regarding a... viciously vivid dream. So vivid, in fact, that many of my friends were able to step into it and explore every inch of it." He waves his hand a little. "Strange shenanigans with The Animus were involved, I'm not sure exactly how it happened. But I digress." Words he's sure Aranea would never say. "Would you like to hear about it?"

Oh Josh, you always know how to appeal to a girl with your lovely blue hairclips. Her favorite color, too~

Aranea smiles just as bright back at the boy, ankles elegantly crossed and fingers poised to begin jotting down notes in her little book. Joshua was nothing short of a pleasure to work with, and she was happy to squeeze him in at an earlier slot during one of his more troubling hours (though to be fair, she wasn't exactly the hottest commodity around town, as much as Joshua would tease and imply she was so). Even with problems on his mind, he still exuded a wonderfully cheerful energy that, as an empath, was pleasant to pick up on.

"A shared dream, you say?" Sounds like a dreambubble, though she doubted the gods of his current world were employing any such techniques. "Of course I would like to hear about it, Joshua. Please, do go right on ahead."

Aranea listens intently, jotting down several quick notes as he explains the various different worlds that made up his dream. She nods along to encourage him, occasionally making a 'hmm' or an 'I see' as she waits for him to finish his explanation. When he wraps it up, she smiles at him, placing the book in her lap and clasping her hands together gently in front of her.

"Let's take this one section at a time, shall we? Attempt to piece together this puzzle. To begin with, the whole thing rather sounds like a trip into your inner psyche, don't you think?"

A multi-leveled affair, all leading down to the depths of his heart, with his innermost feelings. But they'd get to that after they discussed the worlds that led up to it.

"The Park definitely seemed to be an entrance, a sort of introduction to yourself as most people see you. You sounded as though you were very happy and content there, as well. And the message you left anyone who asked how to proceed forward... to talk to one of your friends. I very much believe it has to do with those trees you mentioned, those that led to the other sections of your dreamworld."

She of course knew all about Joshua's friends-- they had been a topic of their conversations many a time previous, to the point she almost felt as if she knew them herself.

Once she had gotten an inkling of what the message mentioned in his dream could mean, the pieces fit together surprisingly easily, though she wasn't sure if Josh had quite made the connection yet. It definitely helped that she was hearing of it in a very straight forward way, which wouldn't have been the case if she had been experiencing it first hand.

"When you think 'Sakura', what comes to mind most prominently?"

"I do indeed. A shopping mall full of clothes and stores for Miss Misaki, an arcade full of games for Beat... not to mention the flowers seem to fit them rather well, do they not?"

Even if Aranea does enjoy talking someones ear off, she just as much enjoyed leading someone to their own answer rather than just plain telling it to them. Having them come to the conclusion by their own volition was much more beneficial, she felt, and was more impacting for the process of healing and learning. After all, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink!

"Let's talk about the cafe in Neku's world. That was your friend Hanekoma's cafe, correct? He left your world recently, hadn't he? And you were feeling a rather major disconnect to begin with because he was from the other Joshua's particular timeline and not your own, if I recall."
